WillaCare is bonded and insured and offers only the highest-quality of home health care so you have peace of mind. All of our certified caregivers are thoroughly screened and trained to offer the best care for their match.

+ Where does WillaCare offer their home care services? Do I need to be in the Philadelphia region?

At this time, WillaCare only offers home health care services in the greater Philadelphia area. WillaCare services currently serve the below Pennsylvania counties:

+ Is WillaCare licensed and insured?

Yes. WillaCare is licensed with the State of Pennsylvania and we are fully insured and bonded.

Becoming a Caregiver

+ Can I get paid to take care of a loved one?

While there are some limitations and exceptions, if you are the primary caregiver for your parent or loved one, you may be eligible to receive payment as a registered caregiver. Contact us to learn more.

+ How do I know if I'm eligible to become a caregiver?

If you are currently a caregiver or are taking care of a loved one without pay, you may be eligible to become a WillaCare caregiver. Learn more about our employment requirements to see if you're a match.

WillaCare Team - Our Caregivers

Yes. All caregivers must provide WillaCare with proper documentation prior to being hired.

+ Does WillaCare run a national background check for all your employees?

Yes. We run national/state/local background checks on all our employees before they are cleared to work in your home. We will re-run background checks every year for every employee.

+ Does WillaCare check references?

Yes. We check at least two professional references. We also will contact personal references to make sure that you’re getting the best care from our exceptional team.

+ Do you check driving records?

Yes. During the interview process, every member of WillaCare must provide a copy of their driver’s license, insurance and proof of trusted transportation. We will keep copies on file and each caregiver must give us updated information, or they will be removed from their shift until we receive it.

+ Does WillaCare provide drug screenings?

Yes. All employees are screened for drugs. Upon hire, employees at WillaCare are subject to random drug testing.

+ Does WillaCare check against sexual offender databases?

Yes. Because we run an extensive background check, we will be immediately notified of any sexual offense that has been charged against an employee.

+ What training does WillaCare provide for your team?

After being hired, all caregivers must go through a lengthy orientation which includes special training and company policy overview. We hold mandatory training sessions throughout the year. These training sessions provide important updated information that is essential to providing the excellence in care that we expect from our caregivers.

+ Am I involved in the decision process about which caregiver we use?

Yes. At WillaCare, we strongly believe in a strong bond between the client and the caregiver. We fully expect you to be a part of the process of finding the perfect fit for you. Once you request our services, we like to perform a “meet and greet,” introducing the caregiver to you and your loved one in the setting of your home. During the “meet and greet,” you will have the chance to interview the caregiver yourself. If for any reason, you or your loved one is not satisfied, we will find the right person for you. Your happiness will keep you as our client and hopefully inspire you to refer us to your friends and family.

+ Are you caregivers employees or independent contractors?

Our caregivers are employees of WillaCare. We pay our employee’s wages, taxes and insurance. At WillaCare, we do not provide independent contractors.

Paying for Home Care Services

+ Does WillaCare accept payment from insurance companies?

Yes. We accept long term care insurance and veterans insurance from the list of insurance providers. Our list is always changing, so if you do not see your insurance provider listed below, please contact us to check to see if your insurance covers services.

+ Does WillaCare accept credit cards?

Yes. We accept all major credit cards as forms of payment for services.

+ Does WillaCare provide financial assistance for home health care services?

Yes. We can help you set up a payment plan.

+ Can I cancel or change my loved one’s services?
